South Houston sits between Houston and Pasadena and began as the settlement of Dumont in 1907. It was incorporated into Houston in 1913 and has grown substantially throughout the intervening years. It is regarded as a nice place to live within easy reach of everything.
South Houston is close to the I-45 and State Highway 3, making it a simple task to get around and into and out of the city proper. There is a good mix of property types here, many of them over 50 years old. Newer developments are springing up at regular intervals to take overspill from Houston too.
