The neighborhood is primarily residential, with little industry but plenty of retail and leisure districts. There are also parks, lakes, a river and the Brock Park Golf Course. East Houston is an active neighborhood within easy reach of downtown. It’s diverse, colorful, friendly and busy, but all in a good way.
