Yuma, Arizona is a small city located halfway between Phoenix to the east and San Diego to the west. It is on the edge of the desert region of Arizona and just a few miles from the Mexican border. Having been settled for several thousand years, the modern city has a lot of character.

Yuma is a mixed bag. The unemployment and transient nature of some of the population means police are quick to intercept loiterers, yet the locals are friendly and welcoming. Overall it’s a nice place to spend time.
