Welcome to Minot – dubbed “The Magic City” because of it’s seemingly over-night appearance along the Great Northern Railway in 1886. Today, Minot, North Dakota, is home to just under 40,000 residents, the 4,000 students attending Minot State University, and one of only two United States Air Force bases in the country that host the B-52 Stratofortress air plane.
