Ann Arbor in Michigan is a small city located west of Detroit, north of Toledo and south of Flint. It’s home to the University of Michigan which heavily influences local life and culture along with around 115,000 people.

Ann Arbor is fairly compact so is quite walkable if you’re staying Downtown.
U of M dominates local culture and offers a relaxed and accepting local atmosphere. The city is pretty, walkable and has decent employment and with a strong local economy and relatively low crime, it’s a nice place to live and work.
